Equine Law involves the horse family, including all types of horses and their related activities. The areas include contract law, insurance law, commercial business and corporate law, partnership law, property law, tort law, family law and many other practice areas of law. No two equine owners or interested entities become involved in equine related pursuits for the same reason. In fact, these “entities” include breeders, trainers, riding instructors, commercial haulers, veterinarians, racetracks, syndications, associations, business, corporations, partnerships, insurance companies and other entities.
These disputes may encompass a range of legal matters such as equine contract disputes, equine contract disputes, equine liability insurance dispute, equine breeding dispute to a thoroughbred horse racing dispute.
Effective dispute resolution requires that an arbitrator / mediator has thorough knowledge of contract law, tort law and administrative law. Perhaps more importantly, an Equine arbitrator / mediator must understand the “language” that is specific to the horse industry as well as the specialized trade practices that are often unfamiliar to persons who are not regularly involved in the horse business. Mr. Shearer possesses those areas of expertise.
Let Mr. Shearer reconcile or guide your litigants to resolve their own disputes through an expeditious, fair and just arbitration or mediation process. You may contact Mr. Shearer via this web site by clicking here or by telephone:
